A total art that creates emotions…
Caroline Lepinay is a multidisciplinary artist whose work fuses sculpture, painting, music, writing, film and performance to create a total emotional experience.
From a young age, she was fascinated by art and dreamed of becoming an opera singer, an aspiration that deeply influenced her artistic approach, infusing her works with unique musicality and vibrations.
Caroline draws her inspiration from the complexity of the human condition and the subtleties of nature. Her works are a tribute to the beauty of the world and the depth of human emotions.
Influenced by Salvador Dalí and Federico Fellini, the matrix of Caroline Lépinay's expression certainly resides in the surrealist universe, in particular in the dreamlike dimension reducible to the experiences and formal research of these two great masters.
Caroline creates works that mix mythology and modernity. The mythologies of Homer, Ovid, Apuleius, and the thought of Plato also enrich his creative universe, adding narrative depth to his pieces.
Born to a French-Italian mother and a French father, Caroline is Swiss-French-Canadian and grew up in a diverse cultural environment, valuing family, traditions and respect for others. This rich cultural heritage is reflected in her work, imbued with a deep humanity and a search for harmony.
Engaged in a relentless quest to understand the world and the human soul, Caroline explores the themes of time, memory, love, death and transformation. Her works, rich in metaphors and symbols, invite the viewer on an introspective journey, revealing the mysteries of existence and the human psyche. She uses her art to tell stories of life and love, creating shapes, volumes and contrasts that speak directly to the soul.
Caroline Lepinay, as an artist and curator, continues to evolve and surprise, offering a new perspective on the world and art with each exhibition. Her "opera of works" presented at the 2019 Venice Art Biennale, Love is blind - Blind for love, marked a turning point in her career, consolidating her international reputation. So much so that Caroline Lepinay was invited by The Baueur Palace hotel to create an installation for the Venice Film Festival that pays tribute to the actor Al Pacino.
For anyone wishing to delve into a universe where every detail is an open door to deeper reflection, Caroline Lepinay's works are an invitation to discover the beauty hidden in the most intimate corners of the human soul.
